At Mighty Vincent, we envision…

  • A world in which being a “Good Samaritan” is the default response to human suffering.

  • A society grounded in sensitivity to the vulnerable and marginalized.

  • A day when works of mercy are taken-for-granted habits.

Through our efforts, as small as they may be, we work and hope to influence a mighty change.

Vincent William Baran—a light in our world from Jan. 9, 2013 to Nov. 7, 2020—touched thousands of lives.
And he’s still doing it, in his small-yet-mighty way.

The Mighty Vincent Project is a week of in-person volunteer service opportunities every September.

The 2025 Mighty Vincent Project is set for Sept. 20-27, starting with a series of volunteer service project opportunities each day and culminating with the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul's Friends of the Poor Walk. We hope you'll join us.

The mission of Mighty Vincent is to bring joy, compassion, and love to the world by facilitating volunteer service and by creating awareness of those in need. In so doing, Mighty Vincent strives to facilitate charity and carry out an effective apostolate in accordance with Catholic social teaching.
